The Community Table documents
the many items Oneida made and sold to match seven of their Community
patterns between 1917 and 1936. Click the picture to the right to see
examples of flatware, hollowware, china and crystal, all in the 1929
Deauville pattern. This pattern is a striking example of art deco design,
with the design motifs carried through the china and crystal.
When you study the the pieces, you appreciate the
workmanship. Click the picture to the right to see a detail from a Deauville
goblet, showing the wheel-cut decoration. |
